Highly recommended.

by

Before pandemic days this antenna was about 70 bucks. I mounted it off a chimney which is not advice one should ever suggest. It receives all signals and then some.

Palm Harbor, Florida

by

I installed this in my home in palm harbor florida. I get all the local stations, 8, 10, 11 &13 and many others. My tv's picked up at least 60 channels on the initial scan. I have 5 tvs connected via a 8 way non powered spitter. Higjly recommend this antenna.

Does the job

by

Super long range antenna works well in rural PA with a booster. Direction is important too as well as testing before installing!

Good Deal

by

Antenna's arrived as promised and no issues with shipping, web site was easy to use and will probably visit again.

Great high-gain antenna for broadcasts from a single location

by

This is an excellent high-gain antenna for situations where all broadcasts originate from a single location - Sandia Crest near Albuquerque in our case. We're up in Santa Fe, our house is 39.25 miles from the antennae, and we get massive signal from this antenna on all VHF and UHF frequencies of interest. In fact, I removed the preamp when I switched to this antenna since the unamplified signal is so strong.

good product

by

the antenna works real good

Everything Went Right

by

The price of the antenna was lower than other places I checked. It arrived on time and in good condition. Assembly/unfolding it was easy. After mounting it, I scanned the available channels and it picked up all of the local affiliates, their sub-channels and others that I didn't know were available.

Great antenna for the price

by

Initially I was going to put this on a 22' tall mast attached to the privacy fence that attaches to my house. I then rethought that because I didn't want to fuss with guy wires and lowered it to 11'. While waiting for some other supplies I connected the antenna to the wire and put in on top of a Black and Decker Workmate, in the backyard, behind the fence, under a tree. For giggles I did a channel scan and got 56 channels. After I put it up, 68 channels. Not too shabby at all. Aside from the plastic connector box you have to attach, it's fully assembled, you just have to open it up. And speaking of that connector box, it didn't want to snap into place the first couple tries, but I managed to get it on. Make sure you get all 4 clips to catch.

Quality is still excellent just as it was back in the days when everything was made in USA,

by

The quality is still excellent just as it was back in the days when everything was made in USA, works very well, excellent range around 55 miles in my location!

Great antenna

by

This antenna was smaller than my last one, so I was leary of how many of the channels in the Tampa Bay area it would pick up. 30-40 miles away. Very surprised to see it gets all the network channels, along with their offsprings, 8.2,.8.3, 8.4 etc. and it gets all the other channels the old antenna got. over 80 in total. Great light antenna and the best thing is the coax cable connects right to the antenna, no need for a transformer with 2 wires and wing nuts, where the old antenna broke

Winegard Antenna

by

works great it was bigger than I expected

Great antenna from a great company.

by

Antenna works great at our cabin for picking up channels about 25 miles away. Recent hail storm with very large hale busted a couple of the antenna splines off of the one I've had for a few years so, ordered the same antenna again to replace. The replacement came damaged due to carrier puncturing box somehow and breaking one of the plastic spline holders but, took pictures of the box and antenna damage and Solid Signal sent me another antenna. Have always had good customer service with Solid Signal when calling about questions or an issue. Highly recommend Solid Signal.

Solid Signal soars!

by

Got it quick. Went together well. Works great.

antenna

by

Antenna works great, easy to install

I believe in Solid Signal all the way, and their antennas, will buy again.

by

As the name Solid Signal is, means Great products as described on their website. Thanks, Solid Signal.

antenna

by

well-made antenna. box is 6 1/2' long, not very heavy, I'm older and put it up myself

Done with Spectrum

by

The antenna is reasonably priced, good quality and works very well. I have it mounted in my attic and feeding an Antennas Direct Model DAX 4-Output TV Antenna Distribution Amplifier. The DAX has a wide temperature operating range so is a good choice for a HOT Florida attic. I used the Antenna Point app to approximate the direction and I haven't bothered to try to improve it since I am getting between 65 - 74 channels on my three (3) televisions. According to the app, most of the broadcast antenna are between 50 - 70 miles from me.

Very pleased

by

Prior to purchasing the HD7694P I was using an RCA ANT751 but was having trouble receiving a channel whose transmitter is only 29 miles away. The RF channel is 7 which is in the hi VHF band. The Winegard HD7694P fixed my problem. I’m now receiving channel 7 with a much stronger and stable signal. I’m also now getting several channels that I wasn’t receiving with the other antenna. Overall I’m very happy with the performance of this antenna.

Buy

by

This is the best outdoor antenna.I can get all the chanels in my area.A good Hi lo for vhf is great.Built with strong metal. The channels are good HD.

More channels

by

All is good and have good reception.

Works so much better than those compact "200" mile toys sold online.

by

I live in Tampa and I previously bought a "compact" HD antenna, installed in attic. Nothing but trouble. Bought this Winegard with LNA-200 amp. Installed in attic and BAM! pulling in 50+ channels. Crystal clear, no fuss. I should have bought this originally.

Wish I had purchased this one years ago!

by

After struggling for years with weak signals from distant transmitters (60+ miles away), I now realize what a difference a powerful, quality antenna can make. This antenna (Winegard 7694P) easily pulls in the signals 24/7, and even during bad weather. Buy with confidence!

Excellent RF 7-36 antenna

by

In my tests the Winegard HD7694 out performed antennas twice it's size and easily out performed antennas claiming 4 times the range. It is very well built and designed to last for many years.

You just cant go wrong with proven designs Winegard offers!

by

I've been using and installing Winegard antennas as a "side hustle" for nearly 40 years-mainly this design. Many old timers like myself remember when they were the "Chromstar" series. Anyway had the pleasure of installing the HD7964P on my daughters and her husbands new home in one of the Twin Cities Western suburbs. right off the bat, 95 channels and on top of that, a station from Eau Claire, WI which uses UHF ch. 17 and almost 100 miles away! pretty incredible for UHF. Forget the gimmick high tech "snake oil" oil out there and go with a time tested proven design, I've NEVER been disappointed by this series of Winegard antenna for nearly 40 years!

Provides excellent alternative to web-delivered video

by

Easy to setup, Easily pulls in large number of stations within 50 miles. HD image quality often exceeds HD cable/internet quality. A solid value!

Reaching out there

by

the antenna worked good alone and I received 29 channels right off the bat. Then I added a signal amplifier and got 35 channels. Then I bought a juice signal booster, installed it with no amplifier and got 107 channels. that is really reaching out there. On a clear day I can receive channels from Cleveland, and I am in Toledo

Good antenna, poor packing.

by

Excellent product. Went from 2 stations to forty. If I would improve anything it would be to add better packing for shipment as our unit arrived damaged (We were able to repair) from sliding back and forth in the box.

There is NO SUCH THING AS AN HD ANTENNA

by

Great antenna ,,listen to the antenna guy ,,he gave me good advice, Sound signal got it here fast. Better than all those small plastic antennas I have been buying for years ,they work but not like this

Small but mighty

by

This antenna has always been a big bang for the buck and performs as well as Antennas twice the size.

Great antenna

by

I bought this to replace a very small amplified antenna that brought in a few channels until the amplifier failed. The Winegard arrived quickly and was easy to install. I still needed a preamplifier (I got a Clearsteam Juice). Now I get many new channels and no pixeling on the ones I got before. I'm very happy with the antenna.

Much better reception...

by

I'm in a relatively flat area, but the trees really seem to limit my signal. My best channels come from a tower 48 miles away and my signal would go in and out. The Winegard HD7694P boosted me from low 40s to mid 70s ! Now I rarely drop a signal. Solidsignal had a really good price and I got my antenna (undamaged) in 4 days. Very happy with the service and my purchase !

excellent reception

by

This antenna provided us with supurb reception for our location of about 40 miles from transmitter towers. It was easy to assemble and install. The preamp from our previous assembly added some weaker channels

Cut the cable!

by

Fairly compact, Light weight made install easy. Connection is by a 75 ohm coax style. I added a signal amplifier and performance is very good.

Antenna range is great.

by

Antenna brings in stations more than 60 miles away with at least 3 mountain ranges between the stations and my location. I did purchase an antenna amplifier. Price with shipping was less than Amazon Prime with "free shipping" which we know is not really free.

Great performing antenna.

by

I have this antenna only 15 feet above ground with an LNA 200 pre-amp. I would prefer it on my roof but it is not possible. I recieve all my local stations (around 20 miles distant) with one a low VHF at 31 db SNR . A great antenna I was fortunate to obtain two years ago for 49.99. What a deal and a great performer.

Works well from 45 miles out

by

I'm in a far west suburb of Chicago, about 40 - 45 miles out. I wanted to find the smallest antenna that would give me the most reliable results. So far, this Winegard has done that. I get all the Chicago stations, including WBBM CBS 2! It's currently mounted outside on the roof of our 2-story house. This far out, an antenna in the attic just won't cut it for all the stations, especially the high-VHF ones.

Reception 45 FT below the road surrounded by heavy fir trees on a shelf

by

Incredible. Works Sun or Rain with no blipping or freezing coupled with a Radio Shack 30 DB amplifier. 12 miles from towers through heavy vegetation.

Perfect small antenna

by

I bought this antenna after Hurricane Michael took out my channel master 3671 I was very surprised of how easy it was to install this antenna I have it also hooked up to FM stereo I have 2 amps this little antenna picks up real good it will definitely surprise you for the price I couldn’t believe it for the money this antenna is an excellent choice I love the cartridge assembly it’s quick and simple and perfect picture and sound .

Pulling in all the San Diego network stations in the north county.

by

Eave mounted, pointed directly at Mt. Soledad, with LNA-200 Amp, receiving 8, 10, 15, 39, 51 & 69. I have considerable terrain masking to Mt. Soledad, (23 miles) making the VHF channels susceptible to degradation in rainy wx. The UHF channels receive well with good LOS (34 miles). Considering the results I got with several reception prediction web sites (everything from no vhf to all will receive), I'm extremely pleased with these results, and glad I gave it a try.

Alas. Time to replace this gem. It endured 7 years of salty ocean breezes and still pulls in signals from Mount Wilson, 100 miles away.

by

It has a great forward to aft ratio and that helps keep TVI from Mexico out of my electronic stuff !

An excellent antenna for use in the attic.

by

Installed my new antenna in the attic and ran it to a 4 way splitter. Without any amplifier, I am able to scan and find 103 digital stations in the DFW area (76137). Very pleased...

A well stocked supplier and a fast shipping dept. Two things I need and they provide.

by

Shipping is quick but a little on the high side, consider this guys.

Maximum bang for the buck

by

Winegard makes the best vhf UHF combination antennas on the market The HD7694 has enough beam width to be used without a rotor in most cases yet it produces plenty of gain to pull in the stations

great antennas in a area that is hard to receive good clean signals

by

Wind storm in November wiped out my original Winegard antenna system. These were large Winegard antennas and they worked well. My area has transmitters in the opposite direction from each other so I use 2 of these antennas and a Winegard signal combiner that feeds through the house to a Channel Master 8 port amplified splitter. I space the antennas as far apart to which they do not interfere with each other. The down leads from antennas to combiner are exactly the same length. These antennas work well in all kinds of weather. Only heavy fog seems to cause a slight pixilation which is minor. Snow or rain is no issue unless its a worse case storm. These antennas are well worth the money and for me with my transmitters distance of 8 miles away up on a mountain in one direction and 25 miles away up on a mountain the opposite direction. I am also surrounded by tall trees, so that says a lot for the quality of these antennas.

Works fine in Cincinnati area and at a reasonable price!

by

Easy assembly. Light weight. Replaced existing 22 old externally mounted slightly larger antenna which had suffered wind damage and mechanical failures. Got the same 38 available channels but locks in more reliably with higher signal strength. Well worth the $50!

does better than HBU 33

by

I had purchased 2 for installation. side by side they look the same After a closer look I had found one of these assembled with ANTENNACRAFT elements the end of the elements are tapered different. I guess it was a Monday's or a Fridays's assembly better look @ yours if you buy one!!

Exceeded expectations, 72 digital channels in The Woodlands,TX

by

In my location I can receive 0 channels on standard rabbit ears, about 40 very unstable channels if I use indoor Terk with 20dB gain, but the indoor one has to be moved around depending on the channel and the reception is very unreliable. I had an unused satellite dish from DerecTV, so installation of the Winegard was easy: just attached it to the DirecTV poll and used their cable too. The only negative moment was when after I unfolded the bigger reflectors (the long sticks) I noticed that I did it in a little wrong order. Unfortunately it is impossible to fold them back without damaging the sockets. The assembly instruction is really poor. For the rest everything was perfect: the antenna started working without any problem, found 72 digital channels, some are evidently from other cities (several channels are duplicated). I also decided to use the 20dB amplifier which I used with my old indoor antenna because some channels are not very stable (once per 2-3 minutes get stuck for a moment) when the weather is changing. With the amplifier it works fine.

Purchased and installed for my daughter. I liked the design, respected Winegard, and expected it to do at least 60 miles.

by

I had a moonlighting job of installing TV antennas, on my days off my regular job, for about 20 years. I know antennas and their capabilities. My daughter wanted a small DTV antenna that would pull in local stations that were 35 miles away and 65 miles respectively. The 2 directions were 40 degrees apart. A higher gain antenna would have narrowed the beam too much. The design of this antenna demonstrated a wider beam of pick up and still enough elements to give good gain. I purchased it and put it up 15 ft. The coax run was 65 ft and I was ready to add a preamp if necessary. The signal at the TV set was 90 to 95%. The weakest transmitters signal from the 65 mile area was still at 70%. The preamp was not necessary. This antenna is under rated in its performance. I believe it would pull in stations 70 miles away if it was mounted 40 to 50 ft up. Good antenna for receiving stations 30 degrees apart.

Easy setup, great product!

by

Put it up to 18ft side roof top mount. I receive transmitter signals up to 60+ miles from Tampa Bay. All UHF/VHF channels come in steady. Also receives all channels from the opposite direction in Ft Myers very strong. Built very strong and compact for an antenna this powerful. Can be used in the attic, but I believe you need to use and amplifier to make up for signal drop. I would have given it 5 stars, but during weather variations the 60+ mile transmitter signals will fluctuate somewhat, specially during the Summer weather when winds are blowing from the South. If you live withing 45 miles of stations this is the antenna you want!

Not too big, lightweight. Not an eyesore on the chimney of a small/medium house. Reception is adequate.

by

My In-Laws have an old 10 foot channel master this is hideous. I swore I would never install something so big and I didn't. I purchased this 7694 and haven't looked back. I was using a cheap phillips antenna before that did quite well but I couldn't pick up some VHF stations 30 miles away. I'm using no rotor and its only about 10 inches above the tip of my chimney. I reached my goal of pulling in all major network stations (abc, nbc, fox, cbs, pbs, & cw) plus a couple bonus stations. All together I think I get 20 channels from a scan. I am also using NO amplifier of any kind. I have a 50ft run to a 3 way splitter and then to 3 different sets. All sets are seeing 70%+ signal on all channels and no pixelation/distortion in 2 weeks of watching. My In-Laws 10 foot channel master does pull in a few extra station than mine but for $50 this thing is the best bang for buck hands down.

READ BEFORE YOU INSTALL ONE !!!

by

Recently installed one of these. There seems to be a problem with VHF terminal side of the board. The problem is not the board but the 4 slots on top of the cartridge housing where VHF lines enter. It also gives WATER/MOISTURE the same opportunity thus shorting out the board. Solution!! apply epoxy glue & cover all holes even coat the wires where they enter the box once they cure no moisture should enter I installed one with an AP pre-amp it really does the job

Great antenna

by

I am 28 miles from the local transmitters and have been using a GE 24769 Futura. While it worked exceptionally well for the UHF stations, the VHF had bad pixilation problems. I considered the larger Antennacraft, but decided against it due to lower gain and exaggerated antenna range claims. The Winegard is absolutely perfect for me - no more problems!

Great antenna!!

by

This antenna is working great. Given I am only ~10 miles from the stations I want. Mounted it inside the attic and getting 54 channels clear as day. Don't know why I didn't ditch the cable box long ago. Wife is super happy!! Thanks Solid Signal for a great price, cheap and fast shipping!!

Excellent

by

This antenna brings all the digital stations from as far as 50 miles away just perfect.

Great Antenna...working great

by

I live in an area where there is a clear line of sight to the TV Transmission towers but Im about 53 miles away. I was concerned that this antenna would not be good enough because the specified range is smaller but it actually worked just great.I read a few websites regarding antennas and basically a few experts said if you have a good strong signal then the range doesnt matter so much. The

Great Buy

by

Easy to assemble and hook up.This antenna is currently located in my attic but will mounted on the roof this fall.I is very powerful and all the TV stations come in clear.

Inexpensive and works great

by

This antenna has exceeded my expectations. I am very please with the reception coming from the Tampa area about 25-30 miles away.

Amp up your digital signal

Excellent product [...]

Good Reception

by

This replaced a 20 year old Radio Shack antenna that was only giving so-so DTV reception. This is in the Long Island NY area about 20miles from the NYC transmitters.Nice improvement especially on UHF and it seems well made. Its feeding 3 TVS and a DVDR/VCR with no RF amplifier.

Great Product

by

The physical size of this antenna is so small for such great gain. Its construction is second to none certainly good enough for commercial quality. This antenna is used roof top in Orlando to receive Tampa stations over 85 miles away with great consistency. It is used with a preamplifier .The high band performance is better than the7-13 5 element yagi (specified gain 6.7db) and the uhf as good a

Excellent

by

This antenna performed better than expected in my application. I am very pleased with the reasonably compact size and excellent performance.

Best antenna for the money

by

Simply put the best antenna ! Pull.s in signal from 80 plus miles away great job winegardand solid signal! Great beamwith like the DB 8.

More than I expected

by

Im about halfway between Denver CO and Cheyenne WY.The antenna is pointed to Denver.Half the channels I get come from Wyoming and the other half come from Denver.I installed this antenna 4 feet above roof-line with a Chromstar mast-mounted pre-amp running to 7 TVs/HTPCs.I currently get 54 channels; about a third of these have HD programming.Id considered going with a AntennaCraft Y5-

Excellent value and great reception

by

Replaced an old roof antenna with this model. Works better than expected and looks great.

good construction

by

This is a decent performer However there sems to be a problem with the circuit board shorting out. I feel they could impose a better phasing network like those of predicessor Chromstar series which offered a over under phase wire system See Hd7000r model for description. UHF director system has poor lock in insulators use needlenose pliers to tighten or adjust for the money it is OK

Tremendous Product!

by

I live in Warrenton VA which according to the DTV reception maps (fcc.gov antennaweb.org) is about 40 miles from all of the local broadcast stations in Washington DC. Because I was going to be mounting the antenna in my attic (using a Winegard DS-2000) I chose this model due to its [relatively] smaller size versus the HD7084P. It was a bit awkward to orient between the attic structures (it is
